Chris Brewster

Martial Artists, stuntman and actor, Chris Brewster, is known for his work on Teen Wolf (2014-), Daredevil (2015), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).

Chris was only 4 years old when he decided that he was going to be a ninja turtle. His parents enrolled him in local martial arts classes and he was hooked almost instantaneously. By the time he was 12, he had his first Black Belt, and he was rated number 1 internationally in forms, fighting, and weapons. Over the next ten years, he would go on to win 13 world titles, and over 100 national and international tournaments.

Chris retired from competing, but wanted to continue using his martial arts and performance skills. He joined SIDESWIPE performance team. For the next five years he performed, made commercials and television shows, and did live events with the team. SIDESWIPE won Steve Harvey’s Big Time, The Tom Joyner Show, and made it to the finals in America’s Got Talent.

While performing, Chris had the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing stunt coordinators in the world and decided that his dream job would be as a stunt performer. Under the guidance of the best coordinators in the business, Chris was given some incredible opportunities including as the stunt doubling for Chris Evans in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, stunt doubling Killian and fighting Iron Man in Iron Man 3 (2013). He can be seen in numerous television shows doing stunts and coordinating fights including Teen Wolf (2014-), Daredevil (2016-), and MacGyver (2016-).

Chris Brewster won the Taurus World Stunt Award in 2012 for best Fire Work on the movie Fright Night (2001) . He continues to work as a stunt performer, fight choreographer and is also moving into positions as a stunt coordinator.
